報告題目：A New Development of Metallography and Heat Treatment

報告簡介：

Professor Zhang Ze is an expert in crystal structure of materials science, he mainly engaged in the systematic study of the relationship between the structure and properties of advanced materials by state-of-the-art microstructural analysis, and has made creative research achievements. He won more than 10 Chinese national and ministerial awards such as the First Prize of National Natural Science and the Second Prize of National Natural Science. He has published more than 400 papers in Nature, Science, Advanced Materials and other internationally renowned journals. He also obtained a number of Chinese national invention patents.

報告人簡介：

The essence of material properties comes from the microscopic structure composed of these chemical components, and the evolution process of these structures and their defects under the action of external fields such as force and heat during processing and service. This talk shall address how the macroscopic properties of a material depend on its microstructure. How to detect the corresponding evolution of microstructure in real time and in situ in the process of material property change, especially in the process of dynamic change of stress, temperature load and other parameters, has a basic supporting role in solving a series of problems such as material processing, preparation and application, and has an important significance in the field of high-end manufacturing. Some historic developments of microstructure analysis, such as metallurgy, shall also be discussed based on the recent trend of AI.
